Anyone noticing some changes in their numbers? This morning I awoke to a a day about 9 days ago going from $10 to maybe $130, so I figured a big auction must have closed. Now I login and the stats have reverted. Same with other days, I see some days go down all the time.
I had the same problem Entrep. Yesterday looking at stats, March 20th or 21st I noticed commisions went but then they reverted back. I did contact the Auction Ads team this morning to see if it was a glitch.
Entrep, can you email support with your info so we can take a look? What I just emailed to (probably OBF): What you see on the reports page is not pulled from the table of actual commissions and transactions. Since the stats are updated from there, its always possible to have discrepancys. I think some of the latest (yesterday) fixes have reduced and improved this.
ddn, can you clarify this a bit more? So the numbers we see on the reports page (the one with the graph) aren't actual commissions and trasactions?
The numbers you see on reports are your revenue. Since those numbers don't come directly from the commissions and transactions table, its possible for there to be a discrepancy. For example, if for any reason a commission comes through for your PID but the SID gets stripped, you will still get credited for it. Because the SID got stripped though, the reports generator won't know which campaign to credit it to, and it might not show up on the reports page. The $10 to $130 thing I suspect was a glitch when the stats were being updated, I'm not sure. This is also why I would never trust a network that sub-affiliates eBay but doesn't assign individual PIDs. The SID field mysteriously goes missing sometimes.
Not to thread jack, but since the original question was answered already, and to not start another AA thread in the aff. section, I'll just ask here. Why does $11.76 show up so much in reports? I see it on mine a few times, and when people post their stats here, it shows up there too. Just wondering if there was some reason $11.76 exactly shows up so much. Anything to do with being 98% of a $12 sign-up commission? Is that AA's cut (2%)?
Boy we wouldn't be in it to make much money if we took 2%. 2% is essentially our fraud withholding. When the payment is made, the 2% is credited to your account. You won't see it in reporting.
