[Auctionads] Any luck with new ad formats?

I'm pulling AdSense from several of my pages because apparently there are no advertisers for parts of my niche. I'm getting pipe fitting ads for an astral projection page, and figure I'll have better luck with AA, even with their current issues...

The old ones seem to fit better (but are easily ignored), and actually have a description of the product...but the new format certainly stands out a bit more and will likely catch the eye, but have one or two words which get cut off.

So I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck with them (new ads) before I bother adding them to my pages. So anyone got a testimonial to share?

I don't like the new ads because they don't blend into the content. I was having trouble with the old ads removing the borders for a few days and my ctr dropped. Something changed at AA and I was able to make the borders white again to blend in and my ctr went back to normal.

I have seen some sites running the new format though.

I like the bigger pictures for the formats I use, but yes, I would like transparent backgrounds (or at least white and black)

But bottom line, I think my click-thru MIGHT be slightly higher, but there are too many variables to really give a good conclusion.

The only thing good about the new ad styles are the larger images, other then that the new styles in my opinion are the worse. Unless you've got some myspace pretty graphics page the new styles just doesn't blend well. For me and all my sites I'm sticking with the "old" style.

I agree, it's difficult to blend that ads. Also the title of each product has very few letters, it needs more

I don't see why they don't offer the same customization with the new ads as they have with the old. For now I am sticking with the old format.

No, not yet. The new ads just don't match with my templates

Not having standard sizes doesn't help.

I just put them on the bottom of a few of my pages... I'm hoping the pretty pictures and only half the text will get people curious (lol) I figure they can't be any worse then non-targeted google ads.
