AuctionAds actually pays 100% commission?

Let me get this straight. AuctionAds actually pays 100% commission ? Wouldn't that be easy for people to "cheat" the service? Any user can just buy the products from their own ads and technically get it for free.

I am currently a user of AuctionAds for my blog, Slyvisions.com, but just need to get things straight. If this is true...well, I need to know if it is true first. :)

100% of comission they get. Not 100% of actual cost. You might get 10% of actual cost so $10 for every $100 spent.

Not sure about 100% any ways they must make money some how.

eBay gives a commission based on a percentage of the fees associated with those auctions. AA gives you 100% of that commission.

They gave 100% commission to all publishers to begin with. It was partly the reason it grew so quick, that was a great marketing ploy.

But I think that was for like 6 months. I don't think they do that now they've been sold.

to my knowlege, they still pay 100% of the commissions received. Im sure that will change at some point.

If you use CJ most publishers wont get above 55% tier. AA is paying out at the 75% tier I think. Even if they keep 5% or 10% your still ahead of the game.

But still. Wouldn't it be easy to cheat AuctionAds since you can purchase items from your own ads? Is that even allowed?

You're right: for now AA pays 100% of commissions earned. I'd say with the recent problems they're having it's not wise to change this at this point.

You will not make any money doing this.
    1. Your commission comes from the Final Valuation fee eBay charges to the seller. eBay pays starting at 50% (through CJ and goes up depending on volume).

So lets say its a $10 item, ebay fees to seller equal $2(estimate) you would earn $1. If you buy a $2 item the seller fees would be much less, thus your commission would be much less.

If the seller doesn't pay the eBay fees, ebay takes back the commission (I believe), or if the bidder doesn't go through with buying the product, the seller will ask for a refund of the Final Valuation Fee and your commission will be taken back.

thats the ebay pricing. AA is in the higherst ebay tier I believe, so the commission is 75%, not 50%. (which is why using auctionads is a good idea.
