Haha. I know a way to put you guys out of your agony, bid a rediculously high offer that the other person probably won't go to like $70 (or you could just pay the BIN price.) *shameless self promotion* :)

Hey Nerz, I just checked out the site and you're right. It seems like no one is using it but redirects to my domain. That's great though for the buyer because it will be extra traffic and also typo traffic. That should be another incentive to bid on this great domain.

Sorry for threadcapping, but I really don't understand how there are bids lower than the reserve all the time. Do the sellers really accept the bids under the reserve too? :p

Wrong place to ask this question, please go somewhere to ask that.
The point of the reserve is to give bidders and idea of what the person selling that item wants for it at the "very least". Then if it's not reached you are "allowed" to decline the bids up to that point, and end the auction, but you don't have to. Hope that cleared things up a bit.

    Regards, Jake Cohen...

Sorry Jake. I didn't want to ruin this, but I was just curious. I'm also very interested and that's why I left a reply :p

No problem mikey. Impressive that you have 2 iTrader point with only 30 posts.

Anyways, cb711 has passed the 24 hour point. If no one else bids within the next 12 hours, the domain is automatically his.

I have to ask you guys a question, especially towards proxywhereabouts. Is it really worth your time to just bid $1. Why not bid a higher amount and save the time you would spend bidding and use it on the site itself. Time is money so in my opinion someone should just bid $70 (or a similar offer), and end this thing. *not an offensive comment, just trying to be useful* Thanks guys...

I would ask you this instead.
Would you rather buy a domain at godaddy for $7.99 with no coupon or get it for $1 with a coupon?

Businessman will try to get something they like with all means but still will keep it within their reach. Unless that thing is urgently needed, there is no need to rush. So, I'm not rushing here. If I wanted, I could've binned the domain but still seeing not much of a competition here, why should I BIN while I could get the domain by lower bid?

Buyer has every right to bid any value as long as it is according to the bid rules. You specify the minimum increment is $1. If you are expecting people to bid higher, please adjust the minimum increment appropriately.

I don't see that my $1 bid is being valued here so I retract my bid.

    Thank you.

Haha. My message wasn't on the offensive proxywhereabouts! I just thought that maybe it wasn't worth your time to keep on coming back here. I am completely sorry and definitely appreciate your bid. I hope you accept my apology, I was just trying to be useful!

    Thanks!
    Sincerely, Jake Cohen.

Well it seems as though proxywhereabouts has backed out (although you are welcome to place another bid if you want :p). Anyways unless someone else places a bid within the next 8 hours, the domain is cb711
