Im thinking of removing Adsense and their ugly ads for Auction Ads/ Shopping Ads.

Does anyone have any experience with them as far as paying, uptime, etc?

If you consider getting rid of Google Adsense and it's fairly paid profits, the best case scenario is to have a very powerful website with tons of traffic then try to sell ad spaces directly to your website visitors ;)

It might be more profitable, but you should go with all the hassle though.

I suggest you keep adsense ads + add the Auction ads too. You can have both of them in your site to maximize the earnings.

I actually added AuctionAds and you can redirect ALL ebay links posted on your site to go thru AA. Actually a mod for it with vBulletin.

I didnt get a $25 bonus when I joined AA! boo!

Why use google ads in an auction? Is it your auction or for someone else?

Some people have had success with AA, but I think if you have a better way of monetizing with eBay, like some custom script (I have my own running on my personal blog - see the ad for the bike trainer below, but it only works with WordPress) you should use it. Auction ads:

    - are JavaScript, so not part of your site's content
    - are cached and therefore you get irrelevant results if yours is not a high-traffic site. I kept getting iPods on my mountain-bike blog because it's not that high-traffic and so AA doesn't seem to cache results for my keywords, at least not for long enough.

All in all, ShoeMoney made a bunch of money with AA when he sold it, but I don't know that it's that good an option...

Anyway, this is way OT for this forum...

Well, fair enough! Proves the old adage, that applies to affiliate marketing too - suck it and see. It's always worth trying since some forms of advertising just work with certain niches. And you never know till you try!
