I was just reading the AA blog about keyword rotation, and decided to check out the source code of the blog itself. auctionads_ad_kw = "dell poweredge 2950 -ugold minprice:1500"; I think Shoemoney mentioned the minprice: function, but is it working now? And I assume the -ugold means to exclude any ads with that keyword? If minprice: is working, what is it based on - the BIN price, or current bid?
we are implementing more features faster then our copywriter can implement them Minprice:1000 dell poweredge 2950 would target all dell poweredge 2950 servers over 1000$ There is also a maxprice: option as well. For instance to really dial it in you could do minprice:1000 Maxprice:1500 dell poweredge the -keyword does act like a negative keyword operator.
Shoe, Could you elaborate what new features are out and upcoming? Does a website still need to have a visitor every 10 minutes to show a relevent ad? Thanks.
The reason you need 1 visitor every 10 minutes is so it shows live auctions. Basically it goes and gets a new batch of auctions. for low traffic sites you should try to target a keyword that is more commonly used yet relative OR setup a cronjob to refresh your page every 5 mins
One thing I would like is a bit more flexibility for configuring the default way your earnings show when you login to your account. For example I would really rather see my earnings for the month displayed on the account home page rather than my earnings for every week.
ya we are looking at that.. A good sugestion was to show all 3 like todays, this week, this month right on the main page so people could get a quick update
