I had to drop them too, unfortunately. I really like the concept behind AA and they were delivering relevant ads for my websites but my earnings went from hundreds to cents. I can't afford to keep them anymore :(

You sure do complain a lot on your blog. Calling people scammers and such. Maybe you should quit online marketing and get a job at McDonalds

btw, SQUIRT works for me and I have found a lot of useful info WickedFire. Maybe if you spent more time working than creating multiple accounts on WickedFire (see his recent blog post) you could figure out how to omptimize AuctionAdsso it works for you or find an altenative

I just want a simple explanation from AuctionAds as to why the drop in clicks/earnings has happened. That's what annoys me the most, they haven't actually said anything.

They did say there was an issue with the reporting but haven't said:

    1) If it will be fixed
    2) When it will be fixed
    3) If the past dates will be fixed so we can be paid out correctly.

Do AuctionAds even care? Makes me wonder how they can stay in business.

I am curious as too how many of your visitors are repeat vs. new? If you have a lot of repeat visitors, wouldn't it stand to reason that your auction ads would slow down? After all, they either clicked and bought when you first put them up or they ignored them deciding that they didn't need what you were promoting.

I agree the statements on their website have been very vague.

I do not use AA but give them some time, since I think they were bought by a new company. There is probably a whole infrastructure change going on.

Pls AA, add ability to receive cheques by mail not Paypal as not all countries allow ppl to receive money by PayPal.

One more thing, good job getting AuctionAds, Wickedfire and BlueHatSeo some free publicity.

    Congrats to the winners

Incorrect according to MediaWhiz and Shoemoney. MediaWhiz was part owner from the beginning and was handling payments and support. AA had one guy doing the technical stuff.

Are you guys using the URL converter? I did some research on my stats, and since i heaviely used the URL converter, my earnings raised again, even after all the trouble from late July and August. Thats why my earnings have increased.

My stats without the URL converter (started to use after these drops in july/early august) have been as worse as most of you guys stats here too.

I would like to monetize my forums with auctionsads better. I am looking for a script that automatically converts specific keywords to related auctions at eBay. Is something like that available somewhere or could someone program that?. I'd pay.

Imagine you have a forum about.. lets say cars and you install a script/plugin that automatically links common keywords like, obviously "Cars" to related auctions at EBay! You could collect tons and tons of cookies if you have a busy forum.

This is one of my products:

    http://commissionlinker.com

It does what you want but it's not 'dynamic'. You have to paste the text (can be HTML/PHP/ASP) into the desktop software and it finds all the unique words while ignoring any scripts or tags. Then you can choose which words you want to convert to eBay Rover links and it does that for you. It's useful because it shows you which words are most used on a page rather than 'hoping' the keywords you want are in there. It only takes a second to convert a whole page so saves a lot of time.

I'm working on a PHP version that will do this dynamically based on a list of words you specify for your site, then it looks for those words and replaces them as you said. It's nice to see that someone actually wants that!

When I first started using links generated by URL converter, my stats went crazy. The problem was that those links count web bots visits as clicks (googlebot, etc.). I wrapped all my converted links with a Javascript and that problem is gone.
Of course, gone is too the high amount of clicks I had by that time.
I don't know if this problem is still happening, but to be safe, I'm still hiding the urls using a Javascript.

    Hope this helps.

You can create any link you want with it, just write the link/code you want to use and put a [KEYWORD] tag where you want the keyword to be used. eBay links are just the default.

I like the idea of the Rewrite ebay to AuctionAds - however this doesn't work on my sites. Seems to come and go a lot, I've posted a comment about it not working over at vbulletin.org but never heard anything back from the developer...

Only with AA. It allows you to choose different keywords for each individual forum.

Works fine for me. Big chunk of my AA income.
