I've owned a online business for approx. 3 months now, it's got a steady income however, i would like to raise the income but i have hit a problem, attracting customers, probably the hardest thing when owning a business, correct? well, does anyone have a few pointers to help me attract more customers? Thanks, NateJ
Hey Nate How many customers you are going to get actually depends on the demand and the size of the market. I have no idea what product or service you are offering, but content and link building is what get you customers. I know I gave you a broad answer that is because I have no clue what is the product or service here. Depending on that your traffic generation techniques will vary. Some common methods are to create contents(article, video, audio) and submit them to relative directories and sites. You can use forums to build reputation and credibility, and customers will follow. Basically you need to know the people that are interested in your product or service, where do they hang out online and present your product/service infront of them, sometimes in a creative way. And don't forget to check on your competitors. How are they getting their customers? Can you steal some ides from them? You said your business is 3 months old and you have a steady income. What have you done to get customers till now? Why don't you scale it up? Whatever is working, you should do more of it. Tk
just give away something in the niche and people will sign up. then email them with your product url you'll be surprised if you have 600 emails list. lets say 300 read, 150 visit the site and 70 buy at $7.
You need something to make your company STAND OUT! Something unique, either positive (a cool feature) or negative (some controversy). Once you have that thing, you need to promote it till you can't promote it anymore.
