Attracting business for a web design business

    Hello

I have a small web design business, well actually, I have built maybe 10 sites for people while putting myself through university and now I would like to get a little more business out of it.

I think the site is OK, to me it is clear and shows other things I do such as promo videos. I also have a £200 website/blog deal (aimed for small business and start ups).

I am seeing some visits to the site via links in my blog and LinkedIn but no takers.

The site is linked to my blog in terms of links but and I am looking at some SEO and keywords but does anyone here have such a small business and if so how do you go about attracting business.

    Thanks

slick site. I'm really likin' the graphics. One thing tho, and this could just be for me, page load is pretty slow with all the videos. I've never dealt much with videos, but how are you caching the content? Also some of those smaller fonts are pretty hard to read on chrome. I realize this isn't answering your post, but figured some outside feedback on your site could help. Sometimes you just need some fresh eyes after staring at the same stuff for weeks :)

Nice looking site, might consider hiring you for some future work ^^

    1. What you could do to promote your site, as well as gain some backlinks is to create a free wordpress or in your case Joomla theme and publish it on several theme sites as well as the official ones then after a few weeks when people start using your theme you should see backlinks from those sites, which will help your SEO, you might get visitors coming from sites using the theme with people that are interested in your work, you could also offer a "Pro theme" with support and more customization etc.

    2. You could sell themes on Themeforest.

    3. List your services in the Digital Point Marketplace

    Good luck ^-^
