Attn: Moderator--Negative Itrader poster is banned?

Hi, I purchased a link from seller--I then saw he had a negative Itader--I checked my link--it had been taken down--contacted seller to refund money--he wouldn't but just placed link back. I posted negative I trader--he retaliated and did same.

Then he received another negative Itrader (3 now) for same issue--taking down link. The seller was banned. He also took down my link. I have dispute filed with paypal. I filed dispute here in appropraite manner--no response.

MY question: Why should I retain a negative Itrader from banned seller for scamming?

Could you please remove it

I appreaciate the reply--but wow! Makes no sense--guy is banned for scamming multiple people but leaves me negative Itrader! Whats the point of leaving negative itrader when someone rips you off and then they can leave one against you.

Also, what's the response button for on negative itrader? Who do the responses go to?

 

That is why it is very important that you do research on the seller , search the forums , google, and so on before you buy.

The report button ? is that what you are referring to. THat goes to the mods only if you did not participate in the thread that the itrader is for.

The mods will not gt involved in buyer seller agreements. They just do not have the time, and it is not their responsibly to babysit as some might say.

It is a shame as to how many people get scammed here (or anywhere on the internet)

Buyers and sellers just need to be aware of who they are dealing with.

 

As others have said, it's your responsibility to be more careful about who you do business with. If people look at your iTrader, they can very easily find out if the member who left it is banned. And keep in mind, a lot of people get banned here temporarily, and it has nothing to do with "scamming" - you also have no way of knowing why that particular person was banned (they may have simply accumulated 10 infraction points for something). That's why we don't remove iTrader just because someone's banned - in most cases, they do get to come back once points expire.
