    DonorSearch.net provides the best database sources to non-profits to help in their ability to generate capital through charity and donations, whether it is for a capital campaign, annual campaign, and/ or planned gifts. This is achieved by providing information to those non-profits on specific individuals whose capacity and past philanthropy has remained hidden to the said non-profit or consulting service. DonorSearch.net has doubled in size for three straight years and is looking for a full time sales person to occupy a position generated by natural growth.

    Location:
    The office is in Marriottsville, Maryland - it's off of Route 70 (runs parallel to Route 40), exit 53. That's about half-way between Baltimore and Frederick. We're around 20 minutes west of Baltimore and about an hour north of DC.

    Job Description:
    The Sales Consultant is an inside sales position and is responsible for establishing new clients, renewing current clients, and new partnerships with third party resellers. New leads will come from both incoming calls and inquiries, and more outbound sources. While the position will focus mainly on sales, it will also be required of the individual to assist in other divisions of the company as needs arise. This could include but is not limited to database building, marketing, production, and customer service.

    None is required

    Qualified candidates should:

    • Be coachable and competitive.
    • Be able to handle a high pace and high pressure environment
    • Be self starter with the ability to work independently
    • Have the ability to speak and educate potential customers in the benefits of a brand new technology
    • Be an enthusiastic extrovert, (Strong interpersonal skills are a must)

    Special Software Skills:
    Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and a general familiarity with access.

    Compensation:
    There is a base pay determined by previous experience. Commission is uncapped with a tier structure in place, and can account for the large majority of a sales person’s total compensation.
