    I am wondering what made OP quote a post as old as June 2008..now? Even if he had to, he should have correctly worded the title as Adsense referrals is retiring soon! :(

    People love to sensationalize everything...I guess.

    That is obsolete news and missleading title.

    If google setled down adsense, it would cut their main source of revenue.

    Yep it has been long gone for a year. About the back link whoring without reading the intermediate posts, i totally agree. Anyways I dont think Google will ever retire ad sense as it is one of their major sources of income.
