I am not looking to start another content vs. quality debate so let's say that the content is average/decent. Assume I do some keyword research on my niche and I get together several long-tail keywords within my niche. How many articles should I submit that are optimized for each keyword? How many do you submit? I've heard people say they write 10+ articles per day. These can't be all for different keywords. Thanks very much for clearing up this article marketing hang-up for me.
I submit articles until I reach my SERPS goals... and then I usually slow down unless I see my SERPS dropping. There's really no hard & fast rule. You just have to do as much as you have to do to get the job done. As far as writing 10 articles per day.. I definitely don't do anything close to that. Using my system I can write one article (and spin it using the MAR software) and then submit via my variety of article distribution services and I can get a lot more bang for that one article than most of those folks do writing their 10 articles (assuming they are just releasing them to specific directories and the like.)
You can write just as many as you want, I usually get 5 - 10 done for the same keyword on a larger article campaign to have more chances of being ranked for a certain keyword. Al.
Hmpffft!! hard nut to crack! get 2 buying keywords and make them your main keywords. you will use 2 good preselling articles to rank 1st on google for these two keywords. (of course, after getting 1st page and keeping the position, go go go and rank other articles for the same buying keyword to dominate page one). so step1 - 2 good preselling articles which MUST rank 1st page on G. the other 8 keywords... hmpfft! create articles linking to these 2 main articles. squidoo -> weebly -> eza -> landing page hubpages -> goarticles -> ab buzzle -> ab -> eza forum post -> buzzle blog comment -> squidoo press release -> landing page et cetera! of course, multiply this by 20 and you'll have a decent random linking structure. gogogo 1st on google!
The more the merrier with article marketing! The key thing to remember with any online marketing strategy is that it must be manageable and you must stick to your plan. With this in mind, target achievable goals such as 1 new article per day submitted to 5 different article distribution sites. If you can spin the article using automated article spinning software thus giving you 5 different articles on each of the 5 different distribution sites then even better. If you stick to that rule for 2 months, you'll be in a good position.
It would be better to submit 5 articles per day to EZA or Articles Base alone. Yeah, I know the sig file contradicts this, but that is more about getting backlinks than traffic from the article.
Thanks, that clears things up a bit. It seems like there might be two schools of thought as to the purpose of most of the articles. One seems to be saying to write as many articles as you can with the intention of trying to get as many listed in the SERPs and get traffic from as possible. The other point seems to be to write on two or three articles for ranking and traffic and write all the others (for that keyword) with the intention more on linking to the main three than on getting views to these articles (the ones linking to the main three) Hopefully someone can make sense out of what I just said and give me an opin on which method is better. Thanks, all for your advice.
GRRR if you write 100 articles and do nothing to them... you'll probably get 50 views / article and then they will die off in the anonymity of the internet. but if you rank just 2-3 of these article and keep them there, you'll get triple that amount try to rank a few articles you think are 'buy-ready' using other articles! and from time to time, build links to the other articles, too... you never know where does the moneyrabbit come from! now, without trying to be meanie, just go and write articles! ACT! STOP READING! JUST ACT! GO AND WRITE! SUBMIT! WRITE MORE! LINK THEM!!! GOGO you'll make your first sale in a few days! :> pre-congratulations!
