No, of course not, I do it too, but I think the point was not to focus on your daily earnings and focus on developing a good site and creating content, then the money will come... in time. But if you waste too much time tweaking every little details and obsessing over the few dollars a day that is coming in, instead of writing good content and working on your sites, you'll never make a super successful site.
There's a popular belief that it's easy to make money online. Make a website, put ads on it and the traffic will flow right in. That ain't true. It's constant hard work and it does take time!
