    I was banned from dp for 3 months and I can tell you to go from income to zero income in one day is devastating and I think wpthemesfree is just devastated right now- noone really saw it coming so swiftly and its not like they were buying or selling links to be penalized like that so I think they will be back but maybe not as same wpthemesfree or maybe tomorrow they may get up and decided to fight the big G- I think G has too much monopoly right now and when you have too much power like that- you tend to become not so nice..

    They are free to do what they like, but if they wish to rank high in Google they must do as they say so, which they didn't, hence the penalty.

    They still haven't.. we get large downloads from that site. so i really do not mind letting them add a link. it's like losing another good site just like the time when wordpress site trashed all our sponsored themes.

    I have been using free wordpress themes downloaded from many sites. Till now i haven't found any clue on ripped sponsor link as the link takes me to the site who designed it. When I use a free theme I add my 1-2 site of my own but I keep the sponsor link intact. I hate the fact people can be so mean to rip someone's brainwork and its really rude.

    I think there can be a company or website where someone can publish all these fraud sites who are ripping peoples hard work so that others can know and will not use those sites. This way they will be losing traffic and soon will have to close down.
