I'm considering purchasing a new 22" LCD monitor. I'm looking at possibly buying http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...=product&tab=1&id=1201913867402#productdetail this week. Are there any disadvantages to this monitor that I should know about? or maybe something better I should go for instead? The fact that it's a 22", the price, and an LG (which I hear is one of the better brands) is what got my attention. I'm currently using a 17' Samsung that's a few years old, so anything will be an upgrade. However, the one thing I did notice is that there are some 24" monitors being advertised as "High Def" now. Should I wait until I can afford the extra $200 for one of those? Any advice is appreciated!
My suggestion for a monitor is Samsung. They have amazing quality, and beautiful colour reproduction.
If your current monitor don't have any problem yet, i suggest you to wait first until the price of the 24" monitor go down a little bit. Just what rsrikanth05, I also recommend you to choose Samsung.
It suck that the price gap between 22" and the 24" is so big. but the 24" offer much higher resolution. The spec look good but i think you should wait. I heard HDTV's price will drop like crazy next month so it might affect monitor too http://gizmodo.com/385729/dealzmodo-ahoy-hdtvs-will-get-stupid-cheap-next-month
