I recently noticed my daily traffic stats where slightly lower then normal. I started to closer examining my recent blog posts. To my surprise I realized a couple of my posts are appearing in the "show more results for" area. Google is displaying other posts from my website yet the primary post within the 'show more results' section Post in question: http://bit.ly/dxS6re Here is the google search when I copy the page title word for word: http://bit.ly/dBfAYt Can anyone elaborate on why google would throw the primary result in the 'show more results' area and other posts from my blog in the natural serp
I have recently noticed that with one of my websites, however it doesnt really affect traffic that much. If someone is searching for the keyword associated with the post in question, then if you have SEOed that post properly and built page specific backlinks etc etc, then that should show up fairly high in your serps, maybe with other pages underneath from your site.
In my case the primary post is appearing however not within the natural search results. The user would have to click the "(+)show more results" tab to view it. I'm not sure why google would give priority to other posts on my site that aren't relevant.
