Attention People from MUMBAI, India

Given how DP has grown, there are bound to be a bunch of people from Mumbai (in India). So, I am planning on hosting a DP get together in Mumbai, for no specific reason If you want to join in, please post/pm.

Most of the people here are from or around Delhi.

I would prefer Delhi.

 

In asking that question, you have already thought further about the get together than I did. But, now that you did, here is what I propose:

If we are very few people (say under 10), then I can host a meeting at one of my offices (All my offices are in the same building: Oberoi Garden Estates, the same building that houses Mahendra British Telecom, adjacent to Chandivli Studios (a major film studio in Mumbai)). Since we will be a bunch of nerds , access to 8 networked computers might be fund

If people do not want to meet in my office, or if there are too many of us, I propose that we pool in the money meet at one of these destinations:
1) Just Around The Corner (Bandra-W) off Linking Road
2) Parabola (the coffee shop of Hotel Rodas) at Hiranandani Powai.

But, these are just initial thoughts. Let us all share ideas and avoid being to rigid and we can have a great time.

I agree that it would be a good idea for you guys in Delhi to meet up too. But, the time for an all India DP meeting might still be some distance away

 

I think Delhi is centre of all the India.....

I was just kidding.

Air tickets are dirt cheap these days in India, if you book 1 or 2 months before flying.

if i want one right now delhi-mumbai-delhi it would cost me $200-$210.

If i fly from delhi(which is 5 hrs drive from my place) Delhi-Mumbai-Delhi it would cost me $100-$110.

 

With access to 8 network computers we can also enjoy some multiplayer game.

yes indeed.(may be. I went to delhi a decade ago.)
Why don't you organise it in delhi?we can innitially arrange it at regional basis. then national and then international.One day will come when all dp members will meet under one roof.

 

I can go any where both Delhi and Mumbai ..since i am in middle ..(rajasthan) ...lol . But i think mumbai will be a nice place .... so that i could meet the one whom i love ... lolz
