this should have caught your attention :D

If you are a Directory Owner and have a Gambling/Casino category and accept those related sites + accept payments via paypal, then you better change your policies from today.

I received an email from Paypal as below

So better take notice before you lose your paypal account

It doesnt say selling advertising for those is illegal, it doesnt seem you are in error. Perhaps you can send them an enquiry about this. It would be interesting to know.

I received the exact same email, i contacted An0n to help me deleting//removing completely the payment page where we can see the paypal button (thats all they ask us to do, delete the paypal button on some sensible pages).

I also had to send a couple of emails to different paypal guys to make the resolution process faster, because i waited 5 DAYS! Instead of 3 business days like they said! To finally have my account back and have no problems in the resolutions center!!!

But there is a way to sell gambling links ;) and have no problems at the same time :D... If anyone wants to know it (though its simple), just pm me.

hmm... i've read the first post a couple of times... not sure how accepting a paid listing in a directory is even connected to those activities listed in paypal's email.

any comments? hopefully they'll review their policy again. ;)

under the new law, accepting payments from any gambling related activities is illegal.

by having a gambling category we accept payments from them so thats a no no.

What are the "limitations" that Paypal imposes until compliance?

Hmm so what should we do with the sites on the Gambling/Casino category? Refund the site owners the money they paid?
