Hi All, I am quite long hanging with dp and have quite good itrader to be a good member of dp. I sell VPS offshore. Sold quite some dozens of them. I have great experience selling VPS and also mainating quality standards also had few bad times finding good ISPs. Attention when you sell any VPS ( offshore ) please don't allow mass mailing, plishing as it can be very dangerous for your company/business As i sell i don't have too much time to see what all my customers do neither do i get any abuse. But for few days i am getting abuse reports some serous sites that uses my ips and hack banks' and other information by using fake sites in VPS. When you get any abuse they are not one or two but a series of abuses. I will like to alert all o you web host seller please have an eyeview what the customers do atleaset see once a week to avoid any business problems Now the problem is when you suspend anyone after abuse they either put a chargeback ( if paid via CC ) or place a dispute in paypal However CC chargebacks are very difficult to win but yes paypal did me favour to win cases all times as paypal only refunds for disputes if any item is not shipped not for any services this way sometime for quite a long time i saw paypal favours sellers a bit. And also paypal sends mail mentioning to sort the problem directly with the customer. As he has abused your services you will never refund as per my infornmation. I have indeed had these problems with Paypal, However I found an amazing part of Paypal's Dispute stating that they will not investigate disputes regarding "Intangible Items and/or Services". Hosting is an Intangible Service that paypal will not refund cash for.
As this topic is about Hosting so i posted this here and i think its the perfect place But I recently won a dispute case of about 400$ 400$ is not a joke mate
He is warning about the high amount of people renting webhosting services with exclusive intention to make fraud sites and scam people, then if we don't open our eyes, we can got into serious problems cause by a big volume of abuse alerts for something that was not done by you.
I also had a recent fraud site on one of our servers. I dident know about it, I was contacted by RSA Anti Fraud Command Center, And they told me to close down the site and send them a complete copy of the site. The client has not contacted me or replied to my emails. I some cases the client may not know about it as it could well be an attack on there website. I remember 4 years back one of my site was hacked and there was bank pages hidden deep inside the site but I found it and took it off. We all should be visual what our clients are up to but it is impossible to check every single folder on each account.
