JERUSALEM (CNN) -- The driver of a backhoe was shot and killed after he drove the construction machine over a number of vehicles near the Jerusalem hotel where Barack Obama is scheduled to stay Tuesday night, according to police. One person was "moderately to seriously wounded" and four others sustained minor injuries in Tuesday's attack, the statement said, citing Jerusalem's police chief. The statement immediately labeled the incident a terrorist attack. A witness said he saw the machine overturn two cars near the hotel in downtown Jerusalem, where the U.S. presidential candidate will be staying after he arrives in Israel. The ID's should be removed for Palestinians living in East Jeruasalem since that's disputed terroritory that the Palestinians claim as their capital in a future Palestinian state.
