Attaching a shop to your blog

I'm thinking of linking a shop to my blog something like cafe press.

Basically a place to buy mugs t-shirts and prints that kind of thing.

I was wondering if anyone else on here had tried something similar. Anyone got any tips on the best sites for setting this kind of thing up?

I post about the artwork I'm working on, I work as an illustrator, concept artist and animator. Mostly I get paid for working in games.

however my blog shows a lot of 2d artwork like this:

I figure this will work well as a t-shirt or a print and hopefully provide a sideline.

I wondered if there were other bloggers on here doing similar things and if they could recomend something. I found this cafe press site but I dont know anyone using it so am interested to hear any suggestions.

As long as you do not have too many items, you can probably just set up a section in Blogger and use a simple PayPal button to order. There are shopping cart services that provide the same functionality. But if you need something for larger products base, you will have to host and install some type of eCommerce software.

I will have to check that out, I do need a middle man in terms of printing T-shirts and/or mugs, so a site where they do it for me is ideal.
