I was referring that message to "helvetti", as its not secret that this person belongs to a Atheist group that screams the message: kill all of the religious people.
You cannot create techniques from a picture of a larger white spot beside a whole bunch of little spots. Since I'm heavy into paleontology I'll hand you a good one. Go to montana and find a fossil. Send the fossil to a Dinosaur fossil carbon date labratory in Montana. Tell them you do not know where it was found. When you get the results note that it will be dated Late Jurassic(ex: 128MYA and they will say which dinosaur it is from). When you get it back send it away to Alberta, Canada, and be shocked when the results show that they say its a completely different dinosaur and its from 72MYA. Now if you want an even better laugh then go to the next province in Manitoba, Canada and get it done again and I'm almost certain they will bring you the results and name the fossil not not even a dinosaur. Those professionals will say its 100% an ocean reptile(MB was covered in ocean in the Mesozoic Era).
This is an example that many scientists make it up as opposed to using techniques to find an answer.

I can just imagine. "Yo, this star is from my finger nail to my knuckle. This means its 230,330Million kms away!"
ok, enough of the jokes. You cannot calculate the distance of something from seeing a bigger spot one inch from a bunch of little spots. Its so inaccurate its not even funny. They are making up the size, mass, and whatever they need to be able to calculate everything out.

I saw the picture....its a bigger spot beside little spots. They saw the image and made up the rest.

You lost that conversation ages ago don't bother bringing it up again. So go and get your 20 Atheist group members to terrorize in this topic too because you won't get anywhere with me alone.

Sorry, I never said all religious people should be killed (I'm against capital punishment ;) ;))

I might have said or implied that religious people are stupid in many aspects of life and that we'd be better off without them like imagine if the christian dark ages weren't there or if intellectual people weren't burn't at stake by the popes blessing for saying the earth is flat then we could be exploring other galaxies by now. And I still stand by it.

With the anti-condom, pro-aids, anti-abortion and anti-stem cell approach christians are still hell bent to destroying the world.

Whatever, Helvetti. The first picture is really innacurate.

Personally technology is doing good I think, but if your not happy with it maybe you should point the fingers at the cost of science and experiments and the money that is stolen and wated away as opposed to blaming religion.

btw, your science friends are doing great with curing AIDS as well after the 900,000,000+ given to them to come up with a cure since the 80's........

You might be trolling but hell I enjoy this kind of arguments . You're grossly overestimating whit the Christian dark age . Or more properly called the Roman-Catholic dark age . It's main stupidity was between the 12th and 16th century .

Beside you got to give Christianity credit for saving Europe from the Muslim invasion if it wasn't for Charlemagne and his Paladins in the West and the Byzantine Empire in the east Europe would now be using the Large Islamic Mosque instead of the LHC .

Incorrect. You are not Muslim, so you are most definitely not perfectly safe. Also, I'd say Helvetti's graph of the dark ages was pretty accurate. Did you have something other than your opinion to dispute it's accuracy with?

yeah, yeah. According to you everyone is not, according to helvetti everyone's nuts, according to the homeless bum we're all going to hell, etc. There's enough saftey to go around by God for Most religions so forget about this Muslim is the only way business. I know absolutely nothing about the Muslim religion so there's no point into challanging me about it.

The graph itself is an opinion. Putting words in an image does not provide any more evidence than words. Common sense.

So you think they made up the name "Dark Ages" because the cloud cover was especially heavy on earth for a thousand years? I suppose the name itself was the statement of someone's opinion. Perhaps you can offer me some other explanation as to why the Romans had indoor and underground plumbing 2000 years ago, while the the planet flailed around in barbarism for a millennium? What type of impact do you think book burning, the suppression of education by the church had on the advancement of science during that period?

On the bright side, my Muslim brothers stood out like bright shining stars during the dark ages!

I don't know. I never studied the dark ages.
I don't even know what the hell you are talking about and assume to are just wanting to pick a fight. I didn't know that dudes from 2000 years ago created plumbing indoor.
I don't know. I didn't know people burned stuff books back then. I didn't study into the dark ages and I'm sure if I did the story wouldn't even be right because about 100+ years book writers tend to lie and change things.
Oh, I get it now. You are saying the the Christians and Catholics were being "bad" during the dark ages and the Muslims were being "good" and in your tiny little worm like brain that you are included to be able to brag as if it was you being good too. News-Flash: you are not responsible for what other people did therefore cannot take credit for what other people did, so before you start braggin and yabbering on think about who you are arguing with because I'm having great difficulties giving a crap about what a bunch of dumb humans did 2000yrs ago. So relax. Assalamu Alaikum

+Rep for honesty. I wasn't trying to attack, pick a fight, or put you on the spot per se. My comments about history really relate to Helvetti's graph which you summed up as "someone's opinion". I simply offered a few facts to indicate it might be a whole lot more than someone's opinion. You should spend a few hours here and there to read a few paragraphs from the Wikipedia on the dark ages (and associated references). Really quite an informative read on the birth of Christianity, be you a Christian, or otherwise. The telling of history may evolve a bit with the opinion of the teller, but facts are facts and there are certainly enough facts from the dark ages to spell out a very clear narrative, regardless of who is telling the story.

To be fair, it wasn't so much about burning the book as burning the person attached to it.
The book most likely to get you burned alive was the bible, though any book which disputed the very incorrect views on science of the Catholic church would suffice.

No, I was just pointing out that it was a time when the Muslims really stood out for their scientific advancement and values of human and individual rights, which really have not changed so much even until now.

Thank you. Peace be upon you as well.

Like I said all religious people are stupid in many aspects of life, it only takes common sense to figure that out. I have just focus on Christianity coz you both were *claiming* to be Christians, even though none of you followed the bible and gave me $2000 when I asked for it.

Many atheists have a more fundamentalist mindset than people who believe in God

@Obamanation : If that graph is curate then the late antiquity and early & middle medieval age never existed :p

@Helvetti : I never claimed I follow the Bible to the word . Maybe some wacko sects do . Try them
