Barring any hiccups, the process begins roughly 2PM for .com. A lot is going to
happen between 2PM and, say, 2:15 or 2:30.

The backorder company you signed up with will likely try to notify you shortly.
    Be patient.

Yes, it was godaddy and the FAILED to get my name. It is now on auction with snapnames and I will have to fight with big guys now.

I have backordered a name that was registred with godaddy, but was already in redemption period when I ordered. When it was deleted snapnames came out as a winner. Will post my whole story when this drama is finished.

Foget about trying to get names from Godaddy unless the name is originally registered with them. The other players in the market usually snap it up

This name was originaly registred with them, thats why I used them. But I guess the problem was it was already in redemption period when I backordered it. But still I guess the solution would be that godaddy would simply offer that I should pay the fee for it to be re-registred when in redemption period. They don't offer this, so now it is at snapnames.
