Not that it happened to me, but I am just curious. I have some questions: 1. At what refund rate will CB ban your account? 2. Is the refund rate calculated as an average from ALL of your CB accounts, or separately? Lets say I have 2 CB accounts, both sells 2 completely different products. Lets say my refund rate is 25% in account#1, but account#2 (which sells a different product) has 2% refund rate, then does CB take the refund rate as the average of the two accounts? 2. Lets say I have 3 CB accounts, each selling a different product. If my account#1 goes beyond the acceptable refund rate limit, while account#2 and #3 have very low refund rates, then will CB ban ALL of my accounts, or just the account that has an unacceptable level of refund rate? 3. If you are banned from Clickbank because of a high refund rate, is it possible for you to redo your sales letter and appeal for reinstatement?
I have never heard of this either. But to decrease your refund rate the best thing to do is to try and find the products that look genuine and not just repackaged ebooks and things that don't look right.
Really? No one has heard about this? http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=261128&highlight=clickbank+banned+refund The post made by B.V.E. says that "ClickBank doesn't allow products with a refund ratio higher than 10 or 15%,.. otherwise they'll be simply banned from the network." but he doesn't sound like he's sure at all and I just wanted a clearer answer. Publishers who sell products with a high refund rate are somewhat of a risk for Clickbank. Has anyone been banned from CB due to their refund rate?
I've never had a problem with high refund rates... Maybe you should look at selling things in a little more ethical way. It has been my experience that if people get what they expect, they keep it...most of the time. Of course, there's CB fraud, but that's not usually above 5%-8%.
It is very common for a Clickbank product to have a refund rate of 10-15%. You can use the calculator in my sig to figure it out.
Well.. the rumor is that the "Ultimate Wealth Package" was removed because of the refund rate. It was one of the top products in the Money & Employment category for a long time, but it's gone now.
