Can You have negative keywords at the following levels: Account level Campaign level also how do you do it in Google, Yahoo, and MSN if yes? thanks in advance, -stephen
In AdWords you can only have them at the campaign level (pain in the arse if you ask me). Same with MSN. Yahoo allow account wide negatives but only allow 50.
Sorry, forgot to mention that adding: -word will add "word" as a negative keyword. Thanks guyfromchicago.
It's not that much of a pain only having negs at campaign and AdGroup level. You can use editor to copy and paste them across all campaigns in seconds. Editor - I couldn't do my job without it anymore. I'd need 4 more people to help
if u ask me, its not so much of a pain.. like briggidere said.. I guess the biggest hurdle is that most of the users dont use Google AW Editor.. They still do it over the web, where i agree that even the simple task of copy-pasting can be annoying.. thankfully i dont have that many adwords campaign to manage.. but if someone has 400 campaigns to manage then... i just lost my chain of thot edit: gives me an idea - how many campaigns do ppl have?? hmm.. dont wanna hijack this thread.. i guess i'll start a new one...
so true i love editor literally able to do 4x as much work i just wish i could put negatives account level but its really not a big deal since i have a good breakdown of campaigns and there wont' be much cross over thanks for the help guys also Yahoo 50 word limit - what a joke!
