At my wits end.

Please forgive me for posting this again but I am at my wits end. This was my posting from earlier in the week. I emailed adwords support and I have copied part of the reply below. What do I do now.

    MY email Hi there,
I have been using adwords for about 3 months . All our ads are targeted locally as we are a service industry and look for business within a 25 mile radius. Up till a week ago, we were receiving 2/3 enquiries a day which we were delighted with. All of a sudden this stopped even though we were still getting the click throughs. By chance, I clicked on one of my ads and got "page not found" After an hours brow beating, I spotted that all my destination urls had been corrupted. I have now changed them and all is now OK.

My question is, how could this have happened, I have not made any changes to my ads for several weeks and no one else has access to my account, and can I expect Google to compensate me for the wasted clicks.
    Cheers

Google AdWords is designed to give you the power to manage all aspects of your account for maximum performance. Because all accounts are self-managed, it is the responsibility of advertisers to ensure that the Destination URL in each ad is accurate. Also, if an advertiser's website is unavailable, the advertiser is free to pause or delete any campaigns for that site.

If it's fixed, you might as well move on. Did you not ring them on the number I PMed you?

I couldn't get through, i tried several times. You are right, I will move on but it bugs me that they have missed the point in my email to them. What worries me is that it could happen again. If I click on my own ads to make sure they are working, will it cost me for the clicks.

It's indeed likely to come out of your account if you click your own ads.

Does anyone else have access to your account? Is your traffic going through any sort of scripting?
...Are you sure it was google's fault?
