I have a laptop motherboard exposed to water and a short-circuit occurs. It lies in the resistor burned? if possible resistor on the main board can be replaced. please answer the hardware expert service!
If your mainboard has been exposed to liquid, and you have an actual short somewhere, it's most likely beyond repair. Ie, in most cases it will be cheaper just getting a new motherboard for the laptop, or just a new laptop, if other components might be damaged as well. There are companies that does mainboard repair, but it's usually costly, and rarely comes with any guarantees if it's due to liquid damage. Normally, it's not worth the hassle. Also, depending on the amount of liquid, it might have damaged the actual chips on the motherboard, and to change those, you'll need professional soldering equipment. You will also need a qualified electronics expert to find what exactly is damaged on the board.
I really doubt you'll find schematics for this outside verfified service centers, together with a specific NDA.
