    Anyone ever heard of this?

    Astral Projection:

This is some kind of technique that lets your mind 'disconnect' from your body. I bet all of you have had once in your life that you were dreaming, but you KNEW you were dreaming and you could walk around and do everything you liked. This is astral projection. Many people experience this as a pleasant experience and you can train this skill to use it whenever you want :)

how to do this: read this article

    Remote Viewing:

Well it explains itself actually... you can view things outside your viewing area (the neighbours, the other side of the world, other planets, stars, the border of the galaxy (and please don't say the galaxy is infinite because it isn't)!). This is also called grid travel.

    more info

Just saw this thought it was interesting to post it here :) anyone ever heard of this?

I've been very interested in Astral Projection for quite some time. I'm interested in learning how to do it, but haven't found any reliable guides.

Most scientists think it is a pseudoscience, but as we learn more about the brain, it will become a protoscience.

Those are interesting articles, I have read about the US intelligence agencies alleged trials with remote viewing before. I guess the Astral Projection is a step up from lucid dreaming techniques, and I wonder if that is what really happens, the brain goes into dream mode.
Maybe one day we will know the truth of these kinds of phenomena but ther's been so many hoaxes with all kinds of PSI, PSK etc. that it's difficult to believe in them.

Don't want to sound like an arse, but, if I remember correctly, astral projection refers to a real dream, it's "ethereal" projection that allows you to "walk around, out of your body". I'm not really sure about that, though.

Anyway, I've read a lot of things about these subjects. It's always fun to see what it may be possible to do (in about 100 000 years, when we use more than 3-6% of our brain). But I'm sure some people are "disconnected" enough to be able to achieve that stuff.

I'm a bit confused... so if you go and get htis projection, your body stays in the same place you left it, only your spirit/thing moves... so you do something it only happens in the projection... right?

I honestly have no idea. I tried it a few times but I've never been able to do it right. The trick is to stay "concious" I think.
