Okay, I'm very new to the Amazon affiliate program. Perhaps I'm nieve. People here are experts, so please feel free to set me straight. I've noticed in my short time, that a lot of people don't buy the products that I had links to on my site. They get to amazon via my product, then they are drawn into something else because of the Amazon website. So, let me get this straight. My Astore has the products I choose to have. Then again, to me that is boxing in my potential sales. If I send people to the main Amazon site, I stand a better chance they may buy something else. It would be like have a storefront. In the back door I have another store with 10000x the number of products. The people in my storefront aren't told about the back room. I just don't get it. I know you can get to the Amazon site via Astore, but only in a roundabout way. I hope I'm right in saying that. My point is, why would you limit the catch (sale) by not letting people fish in the entire ocean? Am I just being a dork?
i think people use aStore to gain benefit on its long-term ranking in search engine index. it's a different purpose than sending potential customer to amazon page. hope this answers your question
