    hi,

i never looked at aStore nor AoM - actually on my site i am experimenting with the ASM2 script right now as well as the "unoffcial shopping cart script"....all in php.

So..now i am aware that astore is out of beta...and i want your opinions what to use when i want to have a GOOD solution for an affiliate store...

(The problem is that it is NOT that easy to customize the ASM2 scripts...and i think the overhead of messing around hardcoding ASM2 script is just not worth it. So i am looking into other options.)

() aStore ???? It is my understanding that those stores are all HOSTED at amazon....so how do you use an aStore on your own site ?

() aom ... still problem with duplicate content ??? How is aom in regards to SEO and page-rank ?

I REALLY have an eye on SEO and pageranking too...what do you think would be the best way to go ?

(btw. i took the freedom to ask again since eg. aStore might have changed now since its out of beta...and maybe its better now than AOM ?)

    thanks !

This my opinion I'm on the same boat as you.(I'm also a newbie in amazon affiliate program)

aStore will be good to drive traffic from AdWords or other PPC programs. Or either if you can send a target traffic from one of your site (if you own)
That's because you can not do much about SEO on aStore. You have no control on the code, and that's the big deffrent doing seo to aStore. If you going to put alot of work(and time) to promote your store you better have more control on the site and put it on your site and have your own domain. In a long term you going to have a promote domain with a title that you may want to sell for a profit or either open your own store(with your merchandise) Then you'll get an option to do that ! You can't sale aStore.

    Hope I help.

    GoodLuck,
    Don.
