    Hello,

I'm working on adding support for billing calls from Asterisk (www.asteriskpbx.org) to Optigold. I'm just wondering if others are interested in this functionality. If you are interested or would use this please drop me a line or post a comment here.

    Thanks,

Sure, sounds good, are you planning on importing data to Optigold every minute/hour/day (huge pain)? We are running asterisk now at our office with mysql cdr database and it tracks calls really well. It might be easier to just create a whole new voip billing system and then just tie them in together in the OPTI web interface (because OPTI doesn't play that game very well).

I have the billing sofware written. I would post a link but I cannot as I do not have 10 total posts yet. :-( For now I was going to post charges via the OPTI web interface. That is if I can ever get OPTI installed. :) I'm trying to install it in a VMWARE window and it does not like me.

What do you mean you need 10 posts? Before you can hypertext a link or something, just put it in text and I can paste into a browser, sounds interesting.

I'll try again. That is what I tried last time but it did not work. Let's see how this goes. :) The wiki is at www.aleph-com.net/astpp/

Nice, now if you could have it generate EMI formatted files, you would really rock.

Do you have the specs on EMI files? I was looking at a website that wanted $600US for the specs and I'm not sticking my neck that far out esp since it is open source. :)

Hmmm, sounds interesting. We've got a kit setup using Asterisk @ Home. I got the system to work with softtel software, but not with the analogs in the office. I got the equipment to do it properly, but i'm having problems with registering the analogs in Asterisk.. Can anyone give me a hand on this matter? Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you looked @ voip-info.org? Registering the analog phones? I don't quite follow what is not being registered properly.
