Assuming I rank #552 for "Dogs" - how do I find that out?

    Hi again,

Thanks for the wonderful recommendations on my last thread - I found a couple of tools I like a lot.

The big question, though, is how do I find out a client's ranking, assuming he ranks considerably high?

For example, suppose I have a client ranking #552 for "dogs" on Google. Is there any way I can research his ranking, or is it impossible? I'd like to show a client that he went from #552 to #400 in an X amount of time, for example, and currently I can't find a way of doing that.

I'd like to be able to check a ranking for a keyword, and find out if my client is in the first 1,000 results, not just the first 100 - can that be done?

    Sincerely,

    Adi Friedman
