It sounds pretty interesting on his part... i'd imagine that you get paid based on how much traffic your content recieves. I guess he has the right to do this simply because he is setting the platform. However, I would recommend just creating your own blog if you are really interested in contributing to a lot of content. Basically he is taking a cut of it... the difference being that he is marketing the website for you.

It's a pretty good company. I actually have them in my signature. They are a good paid to write company, if you are bored and can't find other work. I wrote two little articles for them. One was a 2500 word enemy guide for the game, Stubbs the Zombie, and the other was a 400 word review of Trident Splash gum. You submit them through their form, and they'll review it in about three days. They usually accept decent articles, as long as they are new and somewhat marketable. If accepted they send you an offer, which you can accept, reject, or reject and then improve the article in order to get more money. Both paid me $3.21. You then get money based on how many page views they get. I got about a penny for each 8 visitors. 8 cents so far.

It is also possible for you to actually be serious and write longer news quality articles. They have a lot of information about how to make decent money in the forum. The problem is, that you can make a lot more just doing quality writing at Digitalpoint.

So, it's basically a good way to make win you're bored and don't have another job to do. I wrote up a few when my internet connection was down. You might be able to use it for bum marketing too, but I can't remember if you're allowed to put affiliate links in the article.

Yes, they're a good site for writers or anyone that needs a little extra cash.

Don't write about internet marketing though, pick something else that interests you and write a long article.

After your article gets published and you get paid for it, you can promote the article to increase page views - that will get you some bonus money.

But don't do this long term. I think you should use AC for some start up money and get cracking on your own business.

You can make more with them even non-exclusively than you can from most of the people hiring on places like DP and freelance marketplaces. But they pay far too little to ever justify giving them exclusive rights if you're serious about your writing. They're basically just good if you already sold something non-exclusively and you want to monetize it a little bit more.

It really depends on the article. News articles can be reviewed in about 1 day in order to keep them timely. Other articles are reviewed in about 3 days. It somewhat depends on timing too. They tend to be slower around weekends and holidays.
