I cannot receive upfront payments because I am not a US resident. So would it be ok if I changed my country from Canada to US?
Not a good idea. If you sign up for a US account, you will eventually have to enter your US tax information to get paid.
That's not what I'm saying. If you are a non-US resident, you must sign up with accurate country information, or you will be expected to provide the same information that other US residents must, like your tax ID. Non-US residents are not eligible for Upfront Payments, but can receive Performance Payments. Read their FAQ:
AC is a very good income source for writers anywhere in the world. I advice you to create a new account as a US resident. If you want to know how to do it, give me a PM.
yes, you can earn upfront payments from ac even if you are non US resident its risky can result in account banning if they find out but there would be plenty of people who do that but are very smart and take certain steps to avoid trouble. There are a few good ebook guides written on AC which explain how to do this process but becareful here as buy/selling accounts of any type here at DP is against forum rules
FYI,AC did not accept non US client. So,your already violated AC TOS and the money will not get to your hand coz you break their rules. And the method you suggest is not workable.
Oh good grief, read the AC ToS yourself - or at least the part of the FAQ I quoted. Or you could look at the AC sign-up form that does indeed allow non-US addresses to be entered. AC does allow non-US clients, you just are limited to Performance Payments.
