Associate-O-Matic or BuildaBlogStore?

Which would you use if you wanted to make a lot of websites really quick and didn't know much coding? Does anyone have an experience with BuildaBlogStore? I've heard a lot about Associate-o-matic but BuildaBlogStore looks interesting.

Associate-O-Matic is great for building automatic websites with non-unique content quickly. They don't perform in the search engines but are good if you are promoting from another source (maybe you have a supporting site?)

I have no experience with BuildaBlogStore but it looks like another over hyped "make money overnight!" script. If you look at the sites it creates they offer no value to the user - just mashed up content from eBay, Amazon etc. Google isn't stupid - they know what is what is duplicate content, what is mashed content, what is spun content, what is bad content and what is good content.

Even if you get passed Googles automatic filters, once your site gets popular it will be manually reviewed by a Google employee and penalised as a "thin affiliate" if you don't offer something good.

It is easy to use, but not SEO friendly

If you want to run dozens to hundreds of individual amazon stores send me a PM, I built a system that does so very effectively.

You can control everything from the hub site, though all the websites are entirely independent and can have their own theme, content, etc. The system uses the amazon api and you can pull in items via keywords or by entering the asin numbers manually. Dead items drop automatically.

If you have only a handful of stores the system won't be cost effective, if you intend to have 100 stores eventually I could not imagine doing so any other way, it is just so nice to have consolidated statistics, search referral information including keywords that brought the traffic, etc. You get the overall view of your virtual mall and can see what stores are hot, what items and websites are hot so you know where to spend time. I can see traffic changing as seasons come and go, it is very useful to have such a big picture view of the operation.

The features you want to run stores on a mass scale are not going to be addressed in scripts that are designed to run individual stores. You can literally add a store to your mall on its own domain and insert items in a few minutes if you want simple, or build completely unique and content rich websites. You can permission assistants to specific stores or groups of stores with specific permissions to add products and/or content so you don't have to do everything yourself, but they won't be able to wander around and mess up the system.

If such a system might fit your needs just send me a PM explaining the capabilities you want and I can put together a proposal for you.

I guarantee that you either won't be listed for long (I can't find you for "death metal cds" so perhaps you have already been filtered...) or you are targetting a low traffic keyword. You don't offer any unique content or value, so it makes Google look stupid to rank you highly for any search term.

That being said, I do see some aStores ranking for keywords now and again (e.g. "mens bikes" is top in the UK which gets a good 20 to 30 visits a day). Maybe because they are well established (i.e. a few years old).

I vote neither. Get a Wordpress blog and slap a free theme on it, and start creating content relevant to the products you want to promote.

What about aStores? I just logged in to amazon associates for the first time in a while and noticed this option. Is it new? Also what makes amazon stores particularly NOT seo friendly?

Don't waste your time and money on spammy websites! If it sounds too good to be true... it is :)

Yes I have a lot of sites performing well in the search engines (this is how I make my money on Amazon) and a lot of our users are doing well also. I don't know how much I can say on here without getting an infraction.

I came across a place called shopperpress awhile ago, checking them out again as I would rather run an affiliate store than a dropshipping one. Also interested in freshdevelopment's project, but the price is a little out of reach right now.

I have used reviewazon very nice wordpress theme. Converts with good content and traffic. I have also used Associate-O-Matic and was good back then. I have started using fresh store builder and now its my main script. I can change anything I want on my site. Fully custom capable. Adding content is simple. So check that script out.
