Is there any way of finding out who makes an asp script that is being used on a website ? I visited a website and i like the look of the script they are using but dont know what company has created it; http://modifiedsonline.com/index.asp
Why not ask them? They may be happy to give the business to whomever programmed the script for them, or maybe they did it themselves and will sell it to you.
What do you mean? How to modify it? (ASP is created by microsoft and most common controller for it is IIS) If you want to modify ASP, I recommend that you try to learn CGI or PERL and with those use CPAN and create your own web-controller(domain/server). More about CGI/PERL servers/web-domains I recommend that you google out "APACHE/TOMCAT" and learn from those a little bit more. (One that I coudn't get to work was APACHE:ASP -server. Try it, love it )
The site was designed by http://www.barrowvale.com They seem fairly expensive for web design but perhaps you can get a deal if you want something very similiar to what they have done already. Cheers!
By looking at the source html for the http://modifiedsonline.com/index.asp page and seeing that their favicon is located at: "http://www.barrowvale.com/design/modifiedsonline/favicon.ico"
It's a classic ASP script. The functionality is not the best i've seen, but it's ok. It certainly looks good. As madmax728 said, any good programmer could make a website like that, or even better.
