    It is heard that Microsoft has released the .Net Framework 3.0 What about Asp.Net 3.0 ? Is it also officially been released ?

    It was released a while ago. It adds additional elements onto 2.0 rather than changes it and to be honest from a quick look most are much more aimed at .Net windows applications than ASP.Net
