    I'm new to this board. I would like to know where I can write code in asp.net applications ? Where would I learn this ? know of any good sites ? Thanks for your time.

    There are a ton of resources online, too many to list. I'd start at the official asp.net site to get the basics. The videos should be handy. And then search Google for more information on specific things. Search for anything along with 'asp.net' and you should find lots of quality resources. Good luck :)

    Hi James,

    I started out witha book called Build a Website Now! Its was 20euro and came with Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition on CD. ITs very basic but good for getting started. From there I used the Help feature, the web and forums (like this) to learn as I went along. It took a while to get my head around it but every now and then something 'clicks'. Im working on url mapping at the moment and when thats done my apps good to go :)
