im looking for a designer friendly CMS system based on ASP and/or .net. The ones ive found seem way too complex to intrgrate and use off the shelf navigation systems which look really dated.

anyoen recomend a designer friendly solution?

Also got the same problem with Ecommerce, OS Commerce and stuff like that have nasty templating engines.

free or paid, i dont mind, its just gotta be easy to design for.

    many thanks.

    Have you looked at DotNetNuke?

I've used it to build hundreds of websites that optimize well, look fairly nice, and it has a HUGE # of third party modules and plug-ins that allow it to do almost anything. DNN now has a module from AspDotNetStorefront, which is the best ASP.NET based shopping cart and e-commerce solutions I've ever used.
