    Hello there I got some asp code for a log in page at Microsoft.com...now please refrain from laughing at me as I am a total newb at coding......will this log in code do the job like are some more secure than others and also can you suggest something as I could not even correctly install the code any way. Thanks sorry for the newby questions. :)

    Firstly havent seen the code so cannot say how "secure" it is... secondly the ASP code is only part of the security element and your servers/ SSL etc also play a big part.

    As a guess, it will be secure enough for a forum/ blog etc but not for online banking
