Asking seller a question - Bumping thread - Makes no sense

Getting an infraction for asking the seller a question in a sales thread makes no sense to me. Am I the only one who feels this way? The way sales threads should operate is the most popular threads get bumped to the top because they have something good to offer. If you can only contact the seller by PM, this means the thread will not get bumped, which is an injustice to the seller.

    depends on the question.

if it's a question of general interest, then I don't see any reason why someone should get an infraction.

    what was the question??

The seller was hiring content writers and I asked if the seller accepted pre-written content. I couldn't care less about the infraction, it's more the point of it that bugs me a little.

The bumping rules are in place to make it fair for everyone. And please don't create threads to complain about infractions.

Unfortunately, asking questions leads to crap getting to the top repeatedly while good threads get buried. That's because people leave out information for the sole purpose of having people ask questions (happens all the time here). We also get people who don't bother reading the thread, so the same questions can be asked a half dozen times or more, especially in multi-page threads.

Also keep in mind that having questions asked has nothing to do with something good being offered - it just means the OP didn't give enough information. Threads should be pushed to the top as valuable information is added, such as positive or negative reviews from people who actually took part in the deal. The rules are designed to help those truly popular threads not get buried by garbage as often.
