    Depends on the Quality of the directory.

    Just because its pr5 does`nt mean its a quality directory, the owner might be using a dropped domain and/or accepting spammy websites that would reduce the quality of the directory.

    Let's know your URL first, otherwise it's hard and not accurate to make decision.
    Generally the price would depend on the age of directory, human edited listing, accept/reject adult & gambling sites, reputation, SERPs, Google sitelinks, and PR as well.

    i have paid one PR5 directory for around $39.99 before. don't know whether it is expensive or not.
