Although the quote you have been offered may seem expensive, I think if its it is a professional company who know what they are doing then it OK. I would be more wary if someone offered to get you first page ranking for a ridiculously small amount. The internet is full of companies and websites that claim to offer SEO for 29.99, 59.99 etc etc. Thats who you should not trust.

Search engine otpimisation is a highly competitive industry. Thinks of this this way there are nearly 40 million websites out there but only 10 can appear n first page of Google for a given search phrase. It does take a lot of effort, an hour or so daily in order to drive traffic form search engines directly i.e. appearing on searches.

In most cases the SEO techniques are manual as automated tasks may achieve some result are certainly not sufficient to get first page rank for any keyword( except your domain name of course which is relatively easy). Many businesses now have a full time SEO person to work on their website. If the company who have offered you a quote will actively spend some time on a daily or weekly basis and they know what they are doing; then the quote they have offered you is certainly not a lot and will be every penny worth it in the long run. Please also be aware that you will not see the result for at least 2 months.

 

I can't image paying almost one thousand dollars for a top position unless it's a really, REALLY good keyword.

 

no good SEO firm would do that, read the webmaster piece on G they warn u not to use a service that offers guarentees

 

search a few different keyphrases in google for seo. The best seo company will be the one on top.

 

First things first, anyone who guarantees that they can get you a #1 ranking is full of crap. There are way to many variables that come into play. I suggest you take the time to read a few free SEO tutorials and wait before you throw your money away.

 

Charges are really high for the company as they need to manage everything of theuir company too and charges are added of their office management too.
SEO is not ashort term work.On the basis of different keyword aspects, they might be cheap or expensive and normally keywords take more than 1 month if you are competing in google.com and can take less time than that if you are sompeting for specific data centre.

yes im thinking on that too. seems search engine very competitive in keyword and let says I will pay it for thousand to rank in top 10 SE.

can the keyword long last forever? how about after the end of the service like 6 month they sure got the positions. they show me they have reach the place and then after few weeks it drop to 3-5 page.

is that measure some achievement? did it happened to you too? just create the situations in case it happened to me
