This is my first time trying to make a website that will generate profit. Basically i have found a good information (i roughly have the idea of what my website will be and know the basic html). However, since i have very limited resources to fund my own website. so.. Would it be a good idea if i make my website on other free website first and generate enough traffic before i buy my own website and shift it to my own website later and finally implement Adsense into it??

And will my account be terminated if i couldn't make $100 on the first 3 month after i start using Adsense??

    Welcome PheonBiz!
It's really strange no one replied to your first post

You can open a free blog or myspace account and add content to it. In the meantime, you can find appropriate domain name for $7/yr roughly at www.namecheap.com or www.GoDaddy.com. Also hosting from $3.99/mo.

You can look at it like it is not quite expensive to upload the site online ;)

As for shifting the content from site to site, I certainly do not recommend as your site might get filtered because of duplicate content.

As for the Adsense, I'm not sure about that. You should go through AdSense Help Center
    Good luck!

Hello, and welcome to the forum ;)
It might be a bad idea starting off free...as they are often littered with useless ads and such like. You can get hosting from a couple of quid per month, which really is nothing.
You will find you will not start earning much from adsense, until you generate more traffic.
As earning is concened, you will be just fine earning whatever amount in your first month. I managed to scrape just over $200 in my first month. Google know if you clicks are valid, and if they are spoof ;)
    Best of luck.

I think you should go straight for paid hosting and your own domain. The money involved is pretty small and you will avoid having to transfer sites in the future.

You will also be able to learn more html knowledge whilst setting up your own site.

And I don't think Adsense will close your account if you don't make $100 within 3 months but you should confirm this by emailing adsense support.

    :)

Sorry, I misread...if you COULDN'T make $100 in 3 months. They will not close your account, no. If you are still getting page impressions, they will realise your account is still standing. After all, it is no hastle to them!

Firstly, no your account won't be terminated if you do nt make the minimum payout within 3 months. Maybe you could start a blog on blogger to get into the groove, so to speak.

your account will not be terminated if you haven't earned 100$ within first three months. There are many websites not earning 100$ in a year too. So don't worry about that.

There are some people who have blogs that have never reached the $100 threshhold even after years of Adsense. Luckily (for them at least), Google doesn't terminate if you can't make a certain threshhold.

I agree with everybody here: start with your own domain. If people link to you, it goes to your own domain, not somebody elses - this will help in the future when the site does get profitable. You can't just move then, because all your links point to the old URL. It should be your content, your domain name everything. And hosting is so cheap, that really shouldn't be something to stop you.

Also, you will find that when you start adding content to your website, you will want to do more and more. There are so many restrictions with free hosted websites, it just becomes an annoyance.

    PheonBiz,
Like others have said, you can get a hosting account very cheap. try www.Duoni.com - $1 a month start, and the service is very good, I have been with them for 6 months, and never had a problem.
And .info domain names can be had for under $2 - try www.tajbyte.net. They have .infos for $1.65.

I can vouch for both comanies, and I have used them both for a while now. They will get you started.

    Good luck with it
