    I got your email
and I joined, I never expected to have to pay for the privilege of linking to your site though.

It would be good to have some information about pricing before going to the hassle of registering.

Most directories are free during the set up phase - as the site owners are creating your content initially. For now your directory structure is just the same as everyone else's. A quick look through, and lots of categories have numbers beside them, but it's for subcategories not for links. A bit misleading. I haven't actually found a listing yet.

Isn't it a bit presumptious to promote your directory here when it's not even good enough for a free link in your directory. Most directory owners add "authority" sites for free - to give their directories a busy look from day 1.

Good luck getting this going. I think you'll need it.

Totally plain phplinkdirectory site with no other effort. I do not think you will get many takers. Me definitely not. Try putting a decent skin on it and having a "sale" or offer free links for a day on here or something.

    Just my 2 cents worth.
