ask: stat counter on wordpress

sorry if i post this in the wrong room.

i recently launched a blog using wordpress. then, i put counter from histats.com to know numbers of visit to my blog. yesterday, i saw 3 comments on my blog so it means at least i had 3 visitors that day. well, when i checked in histats.com dashboard, it shows 0 visitor. how can this happen? what is the best stat counter to use on wordpress?

ps: i never had this problem on my blogspot blog/

Sign up for Google Analytics. You can use a plugin to set it up on your site if you don't know how. You can get real-time data that way and much more info about your visitors than you'll ever need.

Edit - Just realised you want statistics displaying on your blog. Check out Flag Counter: http://flagcounter.com/index.html - you can get it as a Plugin.

 

I prefer statcounter.com its light weight and is good for analysis of your visitor.

 

Just because you had three comments does not mean you had three visitors. Let me explain. A lot (and I do mean A LOT) of spammers use a commenting script to comment on WordPress blogs without actually visiting the site. The script will do a post to the WordPress comments file (wp-comments-post.php) and simply try to add comments to your site without visiting.

 

you have to install wordpress plugin for stat and also you can sign up Google Analytics.........
