Hello guys, This is just a survey to see how many % of AdSense publisher did ask their friends to click on their ads. I believe most of the publisher do, at least, on the first day, when he/she get excited to see his/her first click. Then, after exploring the AdSense world, they would ask their friend to stop clicking, as they will know that the game is too risky to play. So, did you do so? Please vote on the poll.
Seeing many topics open everyday saying they have been banned taught me to not tell anyone to click on the ads and play it clean with Google i won't risk my account for 1 or 2 clicks any more clicks from the same person won't count and will be considered click fraud asking friends to click on the ads won't give you much money unless you have 1000 friends but that won't be good too, your CTR will be too high and your account will be flagged and thus Banned sooner or later be always in the safe side
my dad accidentally told his friends and family on his first day before i told him to go read the tos
When im talking about my websites and sharing the addresses with friends I specifically tell them not to click my ads. Its surprising how many people say "oh, i'll click an ad for you" when you go into depth about how you make money.
I only did it at the very beginning when I wanted to make sure that I had put in the correct details for my account (to see if the clicks were coming through). I also wanted to see my rough CPC. Not any more though...
Yeah, I did it once when I first got adSense. Then I started reading threads here at DP and decided it wasn't such a good idea.
I'm afraid to explicitly ask people to click. I have a friend who got banned in a couple of weeks because he told people to click on AdSense ads. His CTR was over 1000%!
Vincent ... i hope for your sake you dont lose your account .... not a very wise idea for a thread ... LOL!
Well, I didn't mention anything about my account. Unless I did mention in my post that I did ask someone to click on my ads before, or I'll not be banned. Warning: For your safety, just vote yes or no to answer the question, don't include your answer in your post.
i think most people have asked someone to click just to see some action, however people quickly learn
