Dear Community, I worked on a little website (hobby time), it's called: https://askandanswer.net/ I would love some feedback and maybe ideas too. Yours, phaitoN
I usually go by my first impression. It wasn't great. Your design is kind of strange. The little window in the fixed position is hiding behind the screen: I believe your concept, overall, is faulty. Not everybody wants to receive answers (worth paying attention to) from total strangers. You need to create a forum-like community where people who answer questions would receive "likes" or "stars" so that their reputation would continue to grow, something similar to quora or yahoo answers. But first, you need to majorly revamp your site. Your current design just doesn't cut it for me.
Dear qwikad.Ok, I see your point there. The design definitely needs a rework. Not sure though if I wanna convert this whole thing to a forum-style page, since my website should be more about fun instead of serious Q&A. Your thought brought me a little Idea though: instead of forumication, I could go with a gameification, adding achievements and so on if someone asks/answers. Thanks for your reply. Love, phaitoN
No problem. I am glad you didn't take it the wrong way. I didn't mean to be critical, I just wanted you to take a long, hard look at your site to see what needs to be done to make it worthwhile for you and your users.
Haha, no, critical is just perfect. You gave me an objective look, which is just fine. There obviously needs to be change and I'm good with that, since this is and will be an on-going (learing-)process.
