ask jeeves has not indexed my website?

    My website is around 8 months old but ask jeeves has not indexed my website, i don't know why?
    Do i have to created an account with them and do it manually?

    It takes it's results from ask.com
    Which itself gets about 2% of all search traffic according to hitwise, so I wouldn't worry about not being listed there.

    I think you should worry more about getting indexed in the Big Three.

    You could also try to find a blog or forum that is indexed in Ask and put your website link there via a comment or sig link. For a start you could try placing a link to your website on your DP sig.

    AskJeeves is very mild traffic, it's not going to affect you much at all whether you're indexed or not.

    I actually like the traffic I get from Ask.com. Even thought it is small, it seems to covert well for me.

    I never submitted anything to ask. It seems eventually it found it and indexed. I wouldn't worry too much about ask, it generally doesn't send much traffic. On a side note I do kind of miss those ask jeeves commercials on tv. They were a little catchy. I think he retired now, at least that's what I read on their site somewhere a while back.

    You should not worry about getting indexed there, You should be mainly focusing to get good ranks in Google and Yahoo
